Set Up Your Gateway:

Before connecting your gateway to an outlet, attach the power cord to the back of the device.
Coaxial cables should have one end connected to the cable In/RF In port on your gateway or modem and the other end to the cable wall outlet.

If you have Xfinity Voice, connect your phone to the Tel 1 connection on your gateway or modem using a telephone cord.

Modem or gateway to be ready:
